If you can't pleat 'em

I actually can pleat. Just a little though. And nobody can look while I'm doing it. I sewed a zipper in as well. It turned out nice on the 2nd go. I thought it'd be harder 'cuz of all of the ads to buy lessons on zipper sewing. For realsies? The machine is starting to do a lot more of the work than I am. Which is good. The purpose of using a machine would be defeated if I was doing all of the work. Anyhoo...I made a skirt! Technically it needs to be lined (otherwise it would be awfully scandalous). I'm proud of this skirt. It's my second skirt and the first one made from scratch. Well. Not really scratch. I didn't make any fabric. That would have been really hard. And time consuming. Maybe someday.

My next project is to fix the man's shirts. They're too big as of now and don't show off his manly manliness. Hey! I've got time now! Later gators!
